Our pricing is our lowest priority. Because of our low overhead, we can offer some of the lowest rates around but don't let this fool you. Sleepless Sound is a top-notch production facility that employs some of the best ears available to work on your mixes. So...if you want to get your project to the next level and Joe Schmo in his mom's basement couldn't get the sound you were looking for on your last recording there's a chance (more of a likely hood) that your money will be better spent with a production team that knows engineering and actually gives a damn about the way your product sounds. Give us a call, tell us what you want to do and we'll tell you if we can help. I'm sure we can.

These are a case by case type of situation. Most times we will work out a flat rate for projects of this nature. Included with the final price, an engineer will do preproduction at an actual rehearsal prior to any recording. This may or may not consist of a live on-site recording. The reason we opt to do this is for a number of reasons. First, it helps us trouble-shoot any potential equipment issues and lets us get a better feel for what instrumentation needs will be for the project. Second, it helps both the group and our production staff get a feel for the material, arrangements and production needs that have to be addressed during the recording process. We've found that by investing in the projects we get involved with in this way, it yields a better product and makes the whole process run smother and more efficient. Last and most important, we want you to be comfortable with us. If you're not, there's no point in wasting your time. Word?

Full Length/Album Recording

Oh man, NOW you've done it. If you're ready to track a full length album with or without label backing, congratulations! Nothing speaks more for the accomplishment of an act than to undergo and successfully complete a FL that can be sold at shows and distro'd around the planet. Because of the monstrous nature of this type of undertaking and the many potential issues that can arise during building an album, most times work will be done under a predetermined hourly rate. Lock-outs are an option and make for significant savings. If this will be finaced partially or wholly by a label, all contracts and arrangements will be made by us through a label rep. All the preproduction benefits of the DEMO/EP style recordings will apply here. Our main goal ALWAYS is to make sure you're leaving Sleepless Sound with a superior product and experience. Think big, we do. That's why we're trying to get you in here!

Legal Bric-a-brac

This is how we make sure we all remain honest people: All sessions are closed and must be booked in advance with a 25% deposit to lock in that time. The remaining cost of the session balance is due at the end of that current session.

Package/Lock-out rates MUST be paid 100% AT THE TIME OF BOOKING to lock in that time. Any time over the included package time is at the agreed upon rate which is discussed at the time of booking and is due at the end of THE CURRENT SESSION.
